Nanci Burnside, owned retail stores in Michigan and
Boca Raton till 6 years ago. She selected to study
portrait painting with Clayton Beck and Scott Tallman
Powers at Chicago’s Palette and Chisel. Upon returning
to Boca she saw her first porcelain painting and was
quite captivated by the lovely translucent finish. Not
finding a skilled porcelain portrait teacher in South
Florida she attended PASS, a porcelain school in
Savannah and a porcelain workshops on Tybee Island.
Her porcelains are fired up to 10 times. Size vary from
miniature for monuments to 8"X10" or 12" X 16"
