Nanci's Life

At the age of 21 Nanci opened her first retail store, a Pappagallo shoe store. It soon
became apparent that she had a flair for buying clothing.  Within a couple of years she
purchased another store in Charlevoix Michigan. At first she carried Dalton, Blyle,
Oscar de LaRenta, Gottex, Eileen West, Alexis Kirk, but in time changed to a more
contemporary venue with Adrienne Vittadini, Nancy Heller, Diane VonFurstenberg,
etc..  After 14 years Nanci closed the stores and went to California where she studied
image/color consulting with Carla Mathis at Body Beautiful.

Nanci then open another clothing boutique, this time in Boca Raton, Fl offering cutting
edge women's sportswear and Image consulting services.  Because of her fashion
background and image/color knowledge Nanci was asked to speak on the radio, TV,
and aboard cruise ships.  She held mini seminars in her boutique
, educating her
customers on silhouette, balance points, 10 essentials, color harmony, style etiquette
and wardrobe planning.  Her  boutique continuously won the PEOPLE'S CHOICE
AWARD for BEST CLOTHING STORE IN BOCA.

Nanci then attended Chicago's Palette and Chisel Academy of Art where she studied
portrait painting.  She was awarded a scholarship from the Palette for her painting
Standing at the Shore.
In 2008, Nanci started painting on porcelain.
The store on Bridge Street in Charlevoix  had a beautiful view, out the back picture window was round lake.  Charlevoix is still a
picturesque town on the shores of Lake Michigan.  We carried everything from Clarin's skin products, to swimsuits, purses, belts, shoes,
nylons, dresses, sportswear and nighties.
